Professor Sanjeev Chatterjee is at present associated with the school of communication, University of Miami. Professor Chatterjee has a M.A. in english literature from the Jadavpur University, Kolkata and M.F. A. in Radio and Television from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. Professor Chatterjee served as the Vice Dean of the school of communication and founding Executive Director of the knight center for international media. The center focuses on the creation and dissemination of compelling visual media addressing the world's most pressing issues.
As a Fulbright-Nehru fellow Dr. Chatterjee will be working with students at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, towards researching and telling the stories of the East Calcutta Wetlands – designated a "wetland of International importance" under the Ramsar Convention of 2002. |
